Andrew Bailey is an artist/photographer based in Boston and is pursuing a BFA from SMFA at Tufts University. His work often focuses on themes such as memory, comfort, and silence by examining how place and context can affect the psyche. His images also seek to critique and better understand how art and photographs affect our perception of the world. Despite his greenness, his work has been featured in numerous juried shows throughout the United States and beyond, including “Road Trip” at 40 West Art Gallery, Denver CO, “The Big Picture” at The Temple, Denver CO, and “Monochrome” at PH21 Gallery, Budapest Hungary. As Bailey continues his artistic career, he is beginning to look more introspectively for inspiration and straying into more personally expressive and narrative-driven projects.
