To make art is to meditate. Under the dim red light and through an endless drone of ventilation, I have found the darkroom to be a place that inspires a calm reprieve from a chaotic world. Utilizing a combination of traditional darkroom chemistry and reversal processing chemicals, these chemigrams exist as an ode to the chemical magic of photography where chaos is embraced and then tamed. The works exist both as paper negatives, as well as positive final products ready for display. The positive and the inverse exist as one, where both the material that makes the image, and the image itself can co-exist on equal footing.

These are still largely studies.
